We have lived in Riverview for 14 years. Having grown up in the Midwest stick-to-your-ribs food tradition, we have really loved the breadth of food choices available in Florida. Cuban food was our first step, followed, quickly by Jamaican, Dominican, Ethiopian, and more. Last night we decided to look for a restaurant at Big Bend. We were checking Google maps and noticed Little Habana Cafe. We tried it. We love it. The service is very friendly and fast. The menu items all look great. My wife ordered a beef entree with sides, and I ordered snapper with a wonderful mango salsa. In fact everything, including our croquettes appetizer, exceeded our expectations (you know the anxiety of trying a new restaurant). There is no question that Little Habana Cafe is now on our list of favorites, plus it’s only about a ten-mile bicycle ride away from our home, and we can sit outside to eat, so the other patrons don’t have to endure our sweat. Perfect for lunch.

The food is prepared fresh, plentiful and delicious. Very good Cuban food!! The service is excellent – they make you feel at home! I frequently take advantage of their Easy Fix office catering packages, which I recommend . . . and are a hit with my staff!! Keep up the good work!

We came across this restaurant via a Google search and it was great!!! The Picadillo and the Palomilla Encebollada were both great with authentic Cuban flavors. I have had my share of Picadillo from many other restaurants and have been disappointed over and over but not here as this is authentic Cuban Picadillo. The customer service was top notch as well.

We had the beef and chicken empanadas for our Christmas Open House – Flavors of the Area yesterday and they were scrumptious. Merry Christmas to your entire family.
